Validating Degrees

UCR Degrees

Universities and companies that want to verify a UCR diploma should contact the Office of Registration and Information by sending:

A fax (in Spanish) to 22-34-12-60, with attention to EXPEDIENTES, with the following information:

 

 

  • Letter requesting the procedure, including contact information
  • Full name and passport number of the student (best if student still has the student ID number)
  • Copy of the diploma earned at the UCR.

 


Degrees and courses from other institutions

To recognize a degree or course from other institutions of higher education in the country or abroad for UCR credit, the Office of Registration and Information and the National Rectors Board (Consejo Nacional de Rectores) CONARE have specific procedures for degree and course validation.
