International Cooperation Section
The International Cooperation Section of the Office of International Affairs and External Cooperation (OAICE), is responsible for managing various cooperation agreements with foreign higher education institutions. It also promotes institutional participation in various cooperation programs sponsored by national or foreign institutions to encourage staff participation in various training opportunities offered abroad.

International networks
Partnerships between the University of Costa Rica can be General or Specific Agreements. These Agreements are monitored by the International Cooperation Section of the OAICE. General Conventions are formal expressions of intent to participate in various activities of academic cooperation. The implementation of the activities described subscription is required specific arrangements. A Specific Agreement is a contractual agreement between the Universities to facilitate the exchange of teachers, administrators or students.
