Student Mobility Section handles the exchange of students between the University of Costa Rica and foreign institutions on a bilateral basis. Exchanges are conducted within the framework of agreements that the University of Costa Rica holds with other institutions of higher education worldwide. These agreements benefit undergraduate, graduate and independent students. Students can also benefit from the opportunities offered by other scholarships.
The Office of International Affairs and External Cooperation (OAICE), is the dependency of the Rectory that is responsible for promoting the academic development of the institution by adhering to the opportunities that arise from the internationalization of higher education. It manages the training of teachers and senior officials abroad, promoting mobility in all its forms; teachers and students.
